SleepAudiobooks is a long-form content channel built from scratch, growing to over 80,000 subscribers and 100,000 active monthly viewers over three years.Starting with a brand identity, website, and content strategy developed from the ground up, the channel was sustained through a research-driven approach that prioritized audience retention over trending short-form content. To scale production, a team of four content creators was hired, trained, and managed simultaneously — with quality control, skills development, and creative flexibility at the center of the process.Analytics were used consistently to inform content decisions and keep engagement steady across YouTube, the website, and a companion blog at SleepAudiobooks.com.

The videos I produced at Penn State spanned a wide range of use cases and formats, from documentary-style pieces for donor outreach and marketing to instructional content for online learners. Each project called for a different approach. from crafting a narrative-driven piece for public audiences or developing structured educational modules for enrolled students.Below are some examples of the scope of that production work.
As the lead Video Content Producer, I collaborated with the marketing team to develop short-form and long-form social media content across multiple platforms.I handled the full production pipeline from ideation through publishing, crafting engaging scripts, designing sets, and editing content tailored to each platform's audience. My focus on analyzing and optimizing audience retention led to measurable growth across all channels, including a 7% increase in YouTube followers, 45% growth on Instagram, and a 179% increase on TikTok.My work strengthened brand visibility and drove consistent engagement across the organization's online presence.
